Hi. My name is Sahilis and I noticed that you adopted a little girl from China, I think. I just think that's wonderful! And I've always wanted to adopt a little girl from China too, when I grow up. I just know that there are many children without a home in this world and I think it's wonderful to help them have one. I just want to ask you how you did it? I know I'm not adopting now, because I'm 17 years old, but when I get married I want to adopt and I hope to get the chance to do it. So I was hoping that you would give me some information in how you adopted, how can you find a good orphanage, can you choose the child you want to adopt, if I live in Puerto Rico [which is far from China] what can I do to adopt the child if I have to sign some papers? and also how long do you have to wait? People tell me that you have to sign or submit some papers in order to adopt a child and when you do that you have to wait a few years, until they let you adopt the child and I don't understand what the papers are for and what do they ask you in order to adopt the child or why do you have to wait such a long time?
